About

I love connecting technology to people. My path into tech didn't start in a server room — it started on the sales floor at Best Buy and Geek Squad, learning what people actually want from technology, and grew at Microsoft, where advising businesses as a solutions advisor showed me how the right technology decisions can transform a company.

My Simon Fraser University degree reflects that range by design: a Bachelor of Arts with a double minor in Business and Interactive Arts & Technology, where I focused on interactive systems, alongside studies in cognitive science on its computer science stream. Building software people love takes equal parts engineering, business sense, and design — so that's what I studied. And I earned it all alongside a full-time career of consulting, MSP work, and leading engineering teams.

Today I'm the Chief Technology Officer at Airble Aviation, where I've led the platform from its first mobile release to a unified GraphQL platform serving web, mobile, and admin products. I founded Glimpse Networks in 2017 to bring enterprise-grade managed IT and cybersecurity to Vancouver businesses. And for over seven years I've been the Systems Analyst for Courthouse Libraries BC, helping steward the infrastructure that keeps legal information accessible across British Columbia.

In 2026, Wings Magazine named me one of its Top 20 Under 40 leaders helping shape the future of Canadian aviation. Underneath the titles, though, I'm still a DevOps geek who automates tedious tasks, self-hosts everything, and takes things apart to see how they work — usually with my dog Bailey nearby and a car project waiting in the garage.

The journey

Now

The road here

  1. Full Stack Developer · Airble Aviation Inc.

    2021 — 2022

Joined as a contract developer and shipped the first version of Airble's cross-platform mobile app — React Native and Expo on a Node.js/TypeScript backend — to the Google Play and Apple App Stores, then stepped up to CTO.

  2. Independent Software Developer · Self-employed

    2016 — 2021

Consulted for small businesses across Vancouver — building websites, software, and SEO — while contributing to open source projects along the way.

  3. Help Desk Analyst · Jolera Inc.

    2018 — 2019

The MSP trenches: network deployments, Windows migrations at scale, and on-site client support across Greater Vancouver — experience that later shaped Glimpse Networks.

  4. Business Solutions Advisor & Product Advisor · Microsoft

    2015 — 2016

Drove a Microsoft Dynamics CRM sales pipeline, worked with Microsoft's Enterprise Sales Group, and ran technology workshops for everyone from kids learning to code to business owners — where I saw the impact of technology on business up close.

  5. Sales Representative & Geek Squad Agent · Best Buy Canada

    2013 — 2015

Where it started: top-ranked sales, back-to-back MVP awards, and Geek Squad repairs — the years of customer service that still shape how I build products people understand.

  6. BA, Double Minor: Business & Interactive Arts and Technology · Simon Fraser University

    2014 — 2024

A degree built around multi-disciplinary curiosity: interactive systems through the Interactive Arts & Technology minor, business, and cognitive science along the computer science stream — earned alongside a full-time career.

Glimpse Networks

Founded in 2017, Glimpse Networks is a managed service provider for Metro Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, and the Fraser Valley. It gives businesses of 10–250 people the technology foundation of a much larger company: proactive managed IT, enterprise-grade cybersecurity, tested backups, colocation, and GN Cloud — a sovereign, PIPEDA-compliant alternative to Dropbox and Google Drive, hosted entirely in Canada.

  • Managed IT & 24/7 helpdesk built on prevention, not firefighting
  • Cybersecurity, backup & disaster recovery in every plan
  • GN Cloud — private cloud storage on Canadian soil
  • Certified partners: Sophos, Veeam, Microsoft

I keep the tinkerer's habit — my personal projects come from scratching my own itch, then sharing the fix.
